Last January 17th, the population of La Pêche and surrounding areas welcomed hockey legends like Guy Lafleur, Stéphane Richer and others. The event took place at the La Pêche Sports Complex and three local teams “attempted” to beat the NHL legends.
No need to mention that the players truly enjoyed every minute spent on ice as well as honorary trainers federal and provincial ministers Lawrence Cannon and Norm MacMillan.
The event’s goal was to raise funds for the CSSS Des Collines Foundation and the 32 000$ generated will serve to purchase stretchers for the Wakefield Hospital.
The Legends Team offers an opportunity to associations and foundations to generate funds for community and sports development through friendly hockey games in different localities.
Special words of appreciation to the volunteers, partners and donors. Because of your support, the event was a total success!
